About the Event
At the edge of childhood is adulthood. The responsibility for my life passes from my parent's hands to me, and I have to start taking care of myself and my needs. I, who was small, became big. And yet, despite the threshold that has been crossed, something in me continues to be small, and it needs attention, guidance and treatment from the adults (first and foremost - myself). In the workshop, we will explore with consultative tools the relationship between childhood and adulthood in our lives. We will try to clarify, each for themselves and in their own way, the boundaries between the small and the large and to bring some order to the division of roles between them.
We will start with a long physical warm up to connect to sensation and the space around us, asking questions about placement and how we feel in different points in the room. With this honed spatial awareness we will approach constellation, work with fabrics, solo and with others.
constellation is an expernital modality of exploration, a (delicate and honorable) psychological game. We use objects or fabrics to represent what we wish to work on, and order them in space, so that the spatial relationship will represent the actual ones. After this initial placement we attempt to embody these representations (or invite others to do so for us), see the world, the situation from their perspective and interact with other representations.
The workshop takes place in Kreuzberg, 25.11, 17:30 - 20:30. The price is on a sliding scale - Lower income: 25 Regular ticket: 35 Supporter: 45. If you wish to participate but cannot pay the lower income ticket - reach out, and we are likely to find a solution.
