Slap Me Soft

Hitting and being hit or Impact play, isn't a conventional context to look for softness and gentleness. Yet, this is precisely what we shall do. We will try to approach this Kuan and insist on staying in this Paradox: How could hitting someone, submitting myself to the blows of another - could be a gentle act of care, whether I am hitting or being hit. 

We will be building towards a classic (face-slapping), and will pass in our way through many apprxoimations, intermediate steps and pauses. The approach proposed is slow, somatic and very much inspired by the Feldenkrais method.

We shall start the evening with a long physical warm up, to connect to sensations, and clarify the physical happening of impact - solo, and then with others. We will finish with a long, thorough and soft experimentation in Face Slapping.
