Me: Naked

A somatic-emotional online exploration of nudity.  Together, we will go deep into its physicality and explore its many layers — emotional, relational and sensual. We’ll connect to the joy and vitality of being nude, the memories it carries, and also try to make space for any hint of shame or vulnerability that may arise.

We’ll practice speaking about ourselves in the context of nudity: reflecting on the needs, wishes, expections and boundaries we have around it. By learning to put these into words, we can become clearer in how we communicate them with others — and more skilled in facilitating safety for ourselves.

The session begins with a solo somatic exploration of the process of dressing and undressing — and the experience of being nude. Although we’ll all be doing this together, cameras will remain off, allowing for a space that is private yet shared — an unusual mix of intimacy and publicness. After verbally processing this experience, we’ll move into constellation work: exploring nudity and our relationship with it through spatial representation.
