Bodywork

I offer one-on-one bodywork sessions in Berlin. I work with soft, non-invasive touch and guided gentle movement. The focus is on learning to sense how your body already works, join it, and let new organizations develop organically. That means that instead of trying to fit into an external frame (‘sitting erect’, ‘putting the head above the pelvis, etc), we aim to clarify how you already operate (when I walk, my head is tilting to the right) and learn how from there you could do what you want to do more easily and comfortably. By tuning in into comfort and ease your body will change, but without us telling exactly how and when.lk

My approach to bodywork is based in the Feldenkrais method but also draws on my vast experiences in other modalities of touch and movement. In particular, the Taiji practice of pushing hands.

Sessions are always carried fully clothed, while explicitly communicating about boundaries and negotiating them. Emotions, memories and stories arise sometimes as well, they are very welcomed, and could be integrated into the work and be processed non-verbally. There is also always a possibility and space to talk and approach these experiences with words.

The bodywork I am offering could help with different kind of difficulties and support a variety of processes: Recurring and overwhelming sensations, acute and chronic pain, recovering from an injury, psychosomatic symptoms, anxiety, improving specfic movement skills, bodily dissociation or simply a wish to connect to it more.

A session lasts 60 mins and the price is 60 euros. There are limited 50 euro slots for people with lower income who would like to commit to a process and can’t afford to pay the full price. I won't ask why and you won't need to justify. Contact me for more information.
